Hello there. I'm a total noob when it comes to 3d modeling and i've been wanting to make a paper art with some topography 3d models that i can get online. I tried using google and asking some friends, but I don't even know the correct terminologoy for this. So I'm gonna send 3 images that sparked my art idea as an example…
Hello, i'm new here. I would like to ask anyone for a way to solve this. As seen in the image 1 i don't get perfectly rounded shape in the border, and in the middle of the shape i get hard edges, which i don't want, i want hard edges in the extrude but in everywhere else i want it to be soft. Hope somebody can help me. I'm…
Image works fine for me, not sure why its not showing up for you; http://private.crash-3d.com/knifetipz.jpg http://puu.sh/a7phC/0e4fdfa106.jpg One of these should work.
I need help with this piece. I'm not sure how i would cut in the Circle on top and on the sides of the sphere.. Any tips? **I hope the image is loading for you guys**
Hello, I'm trying to mesh, and I'm sure it's not good. can you tell me if the mesh is correct. If it is not the case, would have a possibility to show me by image. thank you.
@perna That's not really right compared to the original image though, the fronts aren't parallel to the edges, its more angled. Here's what I did. Base 80 Circle though.
@just_dragos Either spread out the edge loops, or add control (edge) loops horizontally . This is a very common question, and there are 2 other images that have the same solution on this page btw.
how to deal with cylinder that got extrude like the image below : the edge loop will affect the shape of the cylinder and if I try to delete some of the edge I end up with artifact.
I may be overthinking this one, but whats the best way to model padded objects such as the image above? Especially a very soft quilted walls and such. can it be modeled or leave the details in the texturing?
