EDIT: ups I quoted both. nvm. idk how to delet it lol. Well it's my first post here and I'm actually very new to 3D. But its my approach to that model!
Hey guys! I am new to the 3ds Max modelling and my question is, what is the easiest way to "turbosmooth" this weapon part, which was made in Solidworks. Or is there any tutorial, how to do that correctly?
Maybe put the details in normal or displacement slot? or use a pattern in Zbrush to apply a tileable alpha. this is possible but would require a certain amount of time if you want to model it in your 3d app.
Im modeling an Oshkosh Matv, having a hard time with the rear cargo edging. The area just above the MA6 stamp with the holes. I can use either modo or 3ds. Sorry for the low res
Hope it's "clear". Just delete the inside loop(the polygons marked with red) and bridge as marked with the blue lines. That should give you the ceiling you want. It it's not clear yet I'll just do it in 3D ^^.
Hi All, This like really cool but can you do something like stage 10 in 3ds max with some sort of a plugin or something rather than just a FFD box? Cheers Tarik
Hi,everybody!Help please! Explain how do I model this leather wrinkles? Please give тне visual examples.I speak English a little)) (I am using 3ds max 2016)
Is there a procedural way of modeling wrinkles and bandages in 3Ds Max (Check out the red cricles). I want to make a high poly version of this and bake it onto the low poly when it comes to normal mapping.
@iacdxb https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-modeling/training/modeling/clean-edge-flow-t-vertices/ ...probably nail down the basics first which will in turn enable intuitively modelling an optimised edge flow.
@perna Are you sure you could have dove it cleanier? @Yamanote Nothing is impossible to poly model (unless it's something that can't exist in a 3d space), you just must find the correct approach.
