Leisure centaur, youre model is nice, clean but yet appealing. :) Amatoban, did you achieve it with occlusion/diffuse baking, or ? (and maybe you would have save some texture space by duplicating your rivets)
Wanted to start getting the hang of hand painting textures and figured do something easy like a tree. So I did a tree. Finished out at 352 tris and a single 512X512 diffusal for all the parts.

A quick test for a low poly character using two 512x512 maps for diffuse and opacity. I had fun getting a little carried away on the texture. It should be half the size for the ingame elements and less detailed.
