So does the Quake/HL engine, but from my experience they resize the textures to the nearest power of two, resulting in blurry textures. Same case here?
thanks people :),, want to work more on the texture of the puppy, could someone direct me to a good example of fur texturing or tutorials :) would be a great help.
@fabrio brasilien: The leg armor texture, I was having the longest time trying to find the keyword / texture for that. I typed in kevlar weave and I got that carbon fiber texture. Reference wise, I wanted to pull off this in particular though I'm not sure what that's called specifically.
Learning some 3d, so I did a fun project. Lessons learned: 1. Clean the model, and check triangulation! 2. When unwrapping check for texture stretching from time to time! 3. When texturing, have an "imaginary" light source to not get "flat" looking textures.
@Kriscrash: Love it! those manga eyes really sell it WIP base textures main character of iphone game..... and his pet boar ofc!:D Gilbert The Hunter and Porker: Edit: little update on face textures, Textures sizes are 256x256 for Gilbert, 256x256 for the boar and 128x128 for the gun..
