Hey guys, I'm a bit nervous to post this... It's my first post on Polycount and my first approach to PBR. I'm quite new to the industry. Hope you like it and thanks to all of you for the awesome work and inspiration you showed here. Would appreciate critics very much! Have a nice weekend :]
eedobaba7726 love your work, principaly the second shot. Neat work. On my side I have been working on a B747 environment using UE4 and the wonderfull PBR workflow. It's still very Work in progress since I intend to give it some story ( terrorist assault with load of assets on the ground and seats etc..)
Just trying to get more practice on pbr materials. Not happy with the lid, I dont feel the subtle scratches come through strong enough yet, need to work on the gloss map a little more. Also need to build piping and the end bit because he cant just suckle at air and hope to hoover.
@RexM wow man that's impressive! Is that PBR ? if so UE4 or new Cryengine ? stunning ! Here`s my finished pirate girl, more images and detail shots can be seen on the actual tread found here http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2077720&postcount=36 as I didn't want to make an artdump here :D
@ scythe: Your sculpts are really great! I especially like the choice for the pose. Do you come up with those your self or from a reference? Looking forward for more of this. I have finally finished my gas nozzle. It took me longer than I had planned and estimated. Texturing for pbr takes more time I think. But I will…
I´m an art student who just looked into PBR and found it utterly amazing and interesting :poly124: So i decided to create some stuff for it. A kinda mech helmet that is a bit inspired/mood through STALKER and a m1 garand. For behind the scenes video, wires or textures here or my blogger. Who can spot the polycount logos on…
I'm working on a character of myself as an alter ego of Gordon Freeman, using a mix of hard surface modelling and organic sculpting to further improve my skills. High poly head Low poly head with high body And here's the ref sheet I made I recently finished a PBR Half Life 2 combine vehicle too…
Some really awesome work here as always! Here's something I've been working on lately. Wanted to make a World of warcraft style design on the weapon but with more realistic materials. Did some research before starting on it and found Stephen Stones awesome work. Check out his PBR Dagger in his thread here at polycount:…
So much cool!!! That bar keep on getting higher :) I had quite a few requests after the Exolon videos to give a little more insight in my texturing workflow....so here is another vid giving a breakdown on Judge Deaths head model. Hope its useful to some of you :) Artstation -…
Optinium : Fucking love that notsotoothless bust Devmatt posting above me. sexy but knock off the noisy backgrounds. Far too much going on distracting from the amazing work. Still mashing out this doodle projeck. Still lazy screen cap. Going to move onto kitbashing the hell out of the rest of the surfaces next. Materials…
