That looks like a poor depth buffer resolution. Make sure you're on DX or GL rather than software rendering and that your depth buffer resolution is set up properly in your graphics card settings.
The detail and resolution of the print is what you pay for. I had projects where it was $400 for not even close to that resolution. This price is a steal. (Oh and Robot rocks my socks **thanks for all the hard work dude**)

If dynamesh loses detail, increase the resolution and use the project option next to the dynamesh button. If the resolution doesn't seem to work, adjust the size of the mesh. Alternatively, use a smaller res on a duplicate subtool, subdivide and use project all.
Bear in mind that changing the size of a mesh effectively changes the Dynamesh resolution. Compare the size of the mesh to the ground plane. If you kept the 256 resolution but decreased the size you'd end up with a mesh with less geometry and softer edges.
On the topic of waiting out for improvements/ being absent. Is there a work around or fix for horrible UDK compresion yet? Do you guys just double your resolution and ini hack to allow for as much? ( whaqt is the default resolution cap? )
riznof : those texture resolutions are the PC texture resolutions. Every texture of the game (except the diffuses maps) have been downsized by 4 for the Xbox360 and the PS3 versions (ie : a 512² on PC became a 256² on previous gen consoles)
