Be a little careful when you compile your model into a MDL for source. multiple maps of 2048 might be a little high, depending on your computer and what your compiling with. If its maya or max. :)
humm... never used Accutrans or .cob format so I can't be that helpful with regards to that work flow. BUT there are easier ways to get models from Max to Gmax using a few plugins/scripts. 3ds importer v1.1 - gmax OBJ importer v1.1a - gmax Quake-3 md3 importer v1.0 - gmax
Yeah i've got the same tv, or something very similar. The speakers i'm using are pretty nice Logitech with a nice subwoofer etc. You could look into getting a headphone amp, but probabbly not really worth it unless this is really important to you =)…
looks good. love to see this mdoelled and textured in 3d also only thing I thought was that the two central figures are kind of cancelling each other out. perhaps make the bad dude on the tail further down/smaller and the foreground guy bigger more perspective towards the viewer
