Hello Everyone, I am a 2D concept artists. I enjoy making landscapes most of all. I am currently looking for any and all work. Contact me at: jmsutton.ii@gmail.com My small portfolio: http://macksuttonportfolio.tumblr.com Looking forward to working with you!
In my experience if you are making objects and texturing in substance you can make one master material in unreal and then plug the crap out of all of the textures. But if you are looking for a landscape material or a wall material with variation build it in unreal
Hello. I had a little break, but now I'm back to work) Big up. Currently working on a landscape. Selaznog No, i do not have special technique, just do textures, and color correcting in UDK some textures
Thanks vig. I have another question. This is for an offline render in 3ds Max. I was wondering if it would be possible to bring the landscape into UE3/UDK, texture blend there, and then export it back into max? Would the blends follow to max? Thanks!
Looks great to me. However, I would change the section header from 'Conceptual Art' to 'Concept Art', since 'conceptual art' is what Christo does when he wraps landscapes. Just a nitpick, really. /jzero
@Jackwhat, thx dude, working on it. @Muzz, thanks man! @mat, thanks man, i love your sculptings) @Pope Adam, thx buddy. some el jokero and shietty landscape or seascape dunno have a good day!
Makkon: I really like the posing of your characters...thats currently something I'm trying to improve with my own work. The landscape is quite nice as well...great atmosphereic perspective and brush work...angled brushes are great.
Im going to create a base texture similar to the grids and retro mountain landscape grids of the sci fi genre, then i will create a customised design to go over the top of it, not desided on a colour for this yet but the background will be purpley, blue with bright colours on top
o.m.g. your landscape paintings are a bomb! Really love the soft transition of colors and its easiness, hard to explain.. it just pleases my eyes so much I could look at it forever (wouldn't mind having it on a wall in my room)!
I started making this forest in a different way then the last. Not using the UE3 terrain. It takes a little longer, but i have a lot more control over the landscape. Which is letting me have a lot more fun with the flow of the game-play.
