Hi I have a question regarding editing chanel layers in photoshop for a DOTA 2 mask I need to darken a meatal area in the green layer for Rim lighting in DOTA 2 engine but all I seem to be able to do is delete aspects of the chanel e.g. delete red and blue and the image is left with green. Do I edit each layer or do I…
I'm support main and Nami is one of my favourite champion. :) As a skin collector I'd love to see a new Nami skin! It will be Elderwood Nami spashart but I want to design her look before making final art. My idea is inspired by other Elderwood skins in League of Legends. I love the magical forest feeling in them. Also,…
@HUFFER I disabled the gamma correction, only 1 light in the viewport, baked the normal again with the green channel flipped in Zbrush and increased the bump value to 100. I tried ticking the flip green in Max as well, but it's all the same. Seems to be better, but still visible... I'm starting to think that if it's…
The lighting has VASTLY improved. I would say that the scene could use a bump in global ambient lighting (just to bring some of the blacks up out of the corners). Your main lighting is great, possibly a tad over saturated in areas and creating visual conflicts. The dark emerald greens stacked up next to the deep reds is a…
Aaand, today's update. I should probably make a throne, at some point.. Have anyone tried substances not coming in as they are supposed to? The green tubes near the throne are supposed to be gold, with a little of the green stuff to break spec. However, it comes in like this. I have tried both with exposed and unexposed…
This looks quite good. Overall it's a little on the dark side, and I think it would read more clearly if the green parts were a little brighter. I'm kind of surprised that the black plastic/rubber lid part is brighter on the specular than the metal green parts. I'm no dumpster afficiando, but I kind of expect it to be the…
definite art deco.deus ex happening here. your layout is dense and youve packed every space with detail. you've got style and fashion choices being made. the orange and green tones arent quite set right i dont think, theyre a little too light and id consider changing the green to a blue, blue generally sits better with…
But the snow is 90 degrees away from where it should be... Are you using a translator? I think something's getting lost in translation. Take the red channel, and put it in the green channel. Take the (previous) green channel, and put it in the red channel. The left/right axis now corresponds to up/down and vice versa. A…
You can fix the pixelation by choosing the "NormalMapUncompressed" compression method. This uses more memory, but looks better, so you need to decide if it is worth it. Flipping the green channel depends on what you baked the normal map with, it isn't always necessary. UDK requires X+ Y- Z+, similar to 3ds Max. Edit: Just…
Hey interesting project here, i've worked a lot with foliage. Only thing i noticed is the tree leaves color are wrong, it should be more green. And the other small foliages have pretty much same color, i suggest you give some variation from darker to brighter green, it will help define the silhouette you can also probably…
