I wonder if you still have those artefacts when putting source object visibility at 0. Didn't try it, but it fixes the same kind of issue with MR AO. -

I meant more that GI might be the source of the problem. I suppose it could also be a low amount of FG rays as well, I haven't touched MR in a while. -

You cant expect something for nothing. Blaming Max is plain retarded. It you want to reduce the broad dark areas then use MR AO with a low distance setting. -

I was already looking forward to this, but moreso now. Having played System Shock 2, I'm sure this will be even better I also think 'Mr. Bubbles' was cool.
