Hey Obscura! Thank you for this nice pictures. Actually the problem is when a mesh contains a lot of edges, that there is no space to move them apart and so i get this hard edges :/
You mean applying a texture to your model? http://www.blendercookie.com/category/all/tutorials/texturing/ That should contain about all you need to know about texturing in Blender.
Modeled a new gem container and started texturing. Light blue up top will be glass. I've been struggling with the transparency inside of Maya lately so no preview of that quite yet.
Do they really want to shoot themselves in the foot... I mean... The map pack is 1200 points... and contains 3 new maps and 2 we already own... What the FRIDGE?
So I noticed Quixel Mixer does not allow for use of filters on surface layers or folders containing solid layers. Filters like blur, contrast, levels, e.t.c These only work for the mask stack. Any plans for adding filters to surface layers and folders in Quixel Mixer?
Thanks man. The under suit contains muscle bundles that mimic his body movements, but yeah under that he's still hench :) I'm gonna keep it as a bust for now, but who knows. I'd like to 3d print it at some point too.
The Marmoset Viewer is great, thanks for the heads up. Also in more news The goal of "threejs" collection is to provide a set of basic and instructive examples that introduce the various features in Three.js. The source code for each page contains detailed comments http://threejs.org/
I believe the rule of thumb is change 10% of a vehicle and you can avoid legal hassles. Logos and trademarks all have to be fake. In stranglehold the Chinese text that I used for containers say either Snake Oil Company or A Fake Company.
Autodesk products usually have a "License Transfer Utility" which lets you export and deactivate a license in a safe way. It's the recommended way to move licenses. Folders containing presets for Maya and Max just need to be copied over to the new installation.
