Here is how I set it up , Camera height 4 m ,safe frame , 128 x128 tile res , 256 x 256 dimension of the mesh , ortographic projection .... Tough when I animate those holes come out , how cna I avoid this?
wow, there are a few unopened Intuos3's for 125 bid, 150 buy it now. But was there really much difference between 2-3 as there was between 1-2? I think intuos 2 is your best bet at this point, probably get a good size for a really cheap price.
Best investment ever. Truly portable. You can go from the couch to the patio to the car and keep sculpting. All my recent work was done on it. The Cintiq 12x is not really portable like they say. It requires AC! I want to eventually get the 21 for my desktop.
I think low poly usually hovers in relms of 128 to 512 triangles, with 1024 triangles being for nice player models or bosses. Anything over that can have a normal map slapped on it and look like the million dollar man sh-wammmmaaaa ma ma ma
Wow thanks a lot for that, you were right, I had it to overlay and it nuked my blue. At some point I did do the levels to 127 thing, but then I thought, this doesn't look right, forgot that I also had to normalize it. It looks a lot better now
I just picked up a Sony CyberShot DSC-H2. Wonderful camera for the price (about $300). It's got 12x optical zoom, super image stabilization, and manual shutter/aperture/exposure settings. Great all around, and I don't regret the purchase one bit.

So i'm curious as to what is cheaper on a game. Higher poly counts on character (lets say a MAXIMUM of 24k tri count) with 1 2048 texture or a lower poly count (lets say a MAXIMUM of 12k tri count) with 3-4 textures. I've always wanted to know what is more expensive on the system. Thanks :)
