The only reason I don't switch 100% to linux is Photoshop, Max, and Ableton Live. If only there were native linux versions of all of them... :'( -

Cool technology and they're wasting it on a silly coffee table? How about on a monitor that we can afford and actually use? How about a tabletPC? All my friends who animate 3D professionally for a studio use a wacom cintiq 16. I personally animate with my XP-Pen Artist 15.6 Pro tablet. Wacom cintiq 16 has better drawing experience while xp-pen artist 15.6 pro are more affordable. It just depends on you. Try both and see what you like. This article explains it in… -

Please don't spread misinformation. Zbrush actually doesn't use your GPU at all, which is why it runs so passably on average computers compared to most tools of the trade. For Zbrush you'll therefore get more benefit from a stronger CPU, and it generally even benefits from having more cores available as the sculpting… -

as soon as: 3dsmax maya zbrush photoshop ableton live UDK gaming (to a lesser extent) become supported fully on Linux, i'll be leaving windows behind forever. that said, it's a voluntary update, and i'm sure the pirate community couldn't care less. -
