Hmm, yeah.. i remember that happening... depends which MD3 importer you're using, I think. There's a good MD3 import script by Chris Cookson (maxscript, not plugin) which should work in Max5, and has a checkbox for importing tags, animations and stuff like that. Maybe worth googling for that. -

Of course it's carried over into the md5. I don't know how your particular exporter handles naming the materials but if you don't like the names it gives just open the md5mesh with notepad and change those entries to the proper Q4 material names. -

I dont think that will work because I never had this problem long, but yes the texture looks good when selected. But I dont understand why my texture move some inch to the right and when I save the model to a .smd file (hl2 file) and then compile it to a .mdl (model file) file my texure is miss placed. I will do it, do you need it UV Mapped and Textured as well? I can send you: 1 LWO/3DS/OBJ, 2 UV Maps (Pole and Fabric). I am assuming that your team can compile the model into SMD form and MDL Form themselves? -
