Couldn't you make the little discs into a low poly flattened semi circle kind of shape, and then bake the details onto it? 7k seems fairly high in my opinion, but I maybe I am wrong :D
See, what did I tell you. All the cool people were birthed in Feb! Screw the other months.... Edit: sorry for messing up you're 3 Points circle jer.... I mean, postings....
I've played it. You don't do a quarter circle to do fireball. you just press down and punch. No Z motion for Dragon punch, you just press forward and punch. It's lame, and I wouldn't recommend it.
I'd flatten the whole thing out into a circle - that's how you'd actually upholster it. as far as dealing with seams goes - it's basically down to UVs or digging out that node i mentioned earlier - iirc it won't help you on curved edges though
it would be great if you could make it more of a diorama this time, include the ground with paths and tree and bush etc even if its just a circle of soil with the grass on top that would look way nicer than what you had before
Mostly Ok, I think. :) Just circled in yellow some of the areas that I think would benefit from wider edges (at least the ones I could spot). The red dots mark areas that seem to be convex, while they should be concave.
Form is a 2d shape represented in 3D. A circles 3d form is a sphere, square is a cube, etc. As far as anatomy is concerned, most parts can be broken down into simple forms for easier understanding/learning. Thats really about it, there's no real "VS".
Not really seeing the Darksiders style in your work so far. There are no pentagrams in the game, only specific runes. There aren't a whole lot of perfect circles or straight lines in DS or DS2 and we focus on chunky proportions. Try exaggerating some of the shapes.
ya got any pics of the reference? it'll make it easier for us to know what were lookin at. For the most part everything looks pretty decent. Some pinching and wonky areas that i see in the middle bottom circle. Keep it up!
Posted this in the regular WAYWO thread, but here's some TB2 screenshots from my last project. I took a bunch of shots with high DoF, just because the camera options are great. I love the noise and Circle(Aberration) bokeh image. :)
