3D Painting is GPU dependent, not CPU. If your GPU is old (600 series or so, the minimum required) it'll have difficulties running projects above 2 to 4k fluidly. I use a GTX 970 with 32 GB of RAM and I have no slowdowns when painting 8k maps. I don't see why DDO or NDO wouldn't take advantage of multiple processors. The… -
