It should be noted that the 'X' key toggles the transform gizmo off and on for 3dsmax before version 2014. Those who remember it's annoying existence will know why it was changed to open search. :)

Make Planar -- theres a tool from Maya bonus tools that does this. Can anyone please tell me what tool in the Bonus Tools this is? Is it even in the 2014 Bonus Tools?
Not sure which is looking better? the top one has a roughness of 0.4 where the bottom has roughness values of 1.5 for the grey and 2.5 for the blue. What are you thoughts guys?

I needed to do a gun, since I haven't done and (finished) one in a while due to the great computer crash of 2014. I'm doing the M-98 Widow sniper rifle from Mass Effect. Thoughts so far? Suggestions?
