I like all the post processing and stuff but my pc cant really handle this. Runs really terribly on medium/high settings and if I just put it on medium or low I may as well play farcry anyway. check out the wierdness I got when I selected turn everything to high hehe. Ive only got a 6800GT -

Do a search for LEAD engine. I think its a modified Unreal 2.0 engine that Ubisoft modified for the SC series. Pretty sure most of its dynamic, although i still think some of it looks baked, like the AO effect they have going.… -

do you have back face cull enabled for your objects? it slows down the rendering to a pretty stupid level, to say from 200+ fps (on a gforce gtx260 & quadcore) down to 4-8 fps... funny thing is I thought it had actually run way faster with edged faces and backface culling on my old 6800gt rig.. -

Thought I'd just post here instead of starting a new thread. Quick and Easy: Computer was shutting off while playing L4D (hasn't ever had a problem with any other game til now), and would shut off seconds into boot afterwards. Pulled computer apart, put back together, runs fine now, except no signal to the monitor.… -

I've seen laptops for ~1200 euros (and that's including 16% VAT) that come with a better CPU, more RAM (compared to the cheaper Sager model), more HD, etc. Only the graphics card isn't top of the line but rather average (X700s and 6600GT/6800s these days, always a generation behind the current stuff) and the screen is… -
