Hello! Don't know if it's just on my end, but the images You post don't seem to work ("Error (403) It seems you don't belong here!"). You might want to ditch the dropbox for this and try uploading somewhere else?
i have the asus, it's nice. i'd keep an eye on amazon if you don't want it immediately, i bought mine in september and the price varied a lot over a couple of weeks and i got it for under £400, it's currently at £470
After nearly 400 posts you should have some ideas yourself!! ;) You have no padding on your UVs so the bleed-over is baking the abrupt surface normal change that you can clearly see in the NM.
Can't see the image. I get a 403 forbidden error. The tri geom... make a quad, create an edge from one corner to the other, copy+rotate one of the triangles using that edge as the axis, done. Make sense?
That mammoth is dangerously close to the WoW mount - holy copyright infringement, Batman! I have to say, though, that top demon image actually reminds me more of the Bloodthirster from the Warhammer 40k Chaos codex than Kil'jaeden.
Well shit wow :/ . Mods- Can we consolidate these threads, seems silly to have two of them. EDIT- hell it seems that video did a ton to get people back on board. Up 40K in the last few hours.
I've got it all figured out My 400 dollar acer laptop (pentium m 1.8ghz, 512mb ddr, intel gma900) with Mac OSX 10.4.6, Ubuntu Linux, and Windows XP Pro all on a triple boot.
bah I sold it. What a terrible let down. Still, my local DVD rental place (lol shibuya tsutaya) bought it at a 400 yen loss. my advice, don't bother. It's one very boring game.
I was gonna say the same! :) Really nice work so far. Just a suggestion, but maybe play with the proportions a little so its a little more exaggerated (kinda like an Ogyrn), and feels more like it belongs in 40k?
Hey Mistry - Thanks for sharing this. I'm getting a 404 on the link to the rar file, though. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4462462/Hiten_loves_Textures.rar Or am I looking in the wrong place? ... you mention a zip - not a rar - in your first post.
