I have the same issue with all the obj I exported except the samples files by quixel. I use 3dsmax 2014 64bits and DDO 1.6. The settings in 3dsmax to export are:

As a side note, Substance Designer 4.1 (release target Feb/March 2014) will include a new AO baker which will be on par with X-normal quality wise (and much faster :) )
Some wear and tear on the slide, grip and frame.. Nevermind the wonky normals.. somehow the viewport shader in max 2014 screws them up. they look nice in marmoset and max 2010
