Hitman's great, I just don't like that it's highly scripted trial and error gameplay leads less toward you feeling like a Hitman and more like an omnipotent Dr. Manhattan-esque being that exists constantly in the past present and future who is always choosing to kill the garbage man so he can sneak behind the house…
re-worked almost all of the topology I probably made it a bit too high detailed for a base mesh for scripting with. although it is high detailed it holds most of the muscle structures now so sculpting might be easier with the topology. The only other thing is that I switch between high density areas on the head not quite…
Loving it. but it kills my hands! i need autofire. seriously i can only play like one level then my fingers start hurt like crap the first few levels worked kinda good but the tougher ones later are killing me. need to find a autofire script for my mouse if i want to keep playing :x
TBH I haven't used any of those brands (I owned Viewsonic back in the CRT days). Right now I'm using an Acer X241W as primary and a BenQ FP202W (stood vertically to the right of primary). The primary is straight ahead, so I'm not turning to one side or the other. Just a quick glance to the right for ref, script editing,…
I do have the same error. But I simply hold the "enter" key for a while till they are all gone. This is due a mis install of a script. I've reinstalled all but had the it again so I believe I've done something wrong. Personally I don't really care but if anyone finds a solution I would be happy to hear.
As far as I would see the only things the tech artists should feel obliged (but still not have to) is the instructions for use of the scripts and tools that the tech artists built for the team while working on the project. They shouldn't write down anything that relates to their actual processes and skills used when…
The long-time president of Zombie Studios, John Williamson, described it as a Faustian bargain... you get to make these wonderful, collaborative things, but you never get to enjoy the fruits of your own labor the way you can enjoy the things other people make. Sandbox and sim games seem to be an exception since there's so…
i am not a programmer, but i know that you can set the tiling for parts of a map via script so it should be possible to output different parts of one map into different slots like normal, emissive etc but this would most likely need some wizard-level programming skills to do that, correct me if i am wrong
I wanted to ask is there a better workflow artists use in Photoshop if you want to paint wear or chiped paint on the edges of a 3d model and that edge seperates into 2 uv islands. How would you do this or for this 3d painting is required? Is there any sort of PS script that moves your brush between two uv island edges as…
Here is a link to the series playlist. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLn5QvCoiY3w6OA-BI8KaCZdWMHOm_GvNF I have worked with where it gets assembled in engine personally. I would think some of the reasons for doing it straight in the 3D program is: Keeping what's familiar for a lot of people. Lots of tools and…
