My 10 cents, 2 gig ram + 64 bit OS I can do render to texture bakes of around 3.5 million tris. I can import more but it crashes out. On my 4 gig machine I can do prolly 5/6 million tris. Remember the difference between the geometry count in Z-Brush and Max. Z-Brush is normally counted in polys so if you have 10 million… -

I just wanted to chime in here also on this, really take a look at some tutorials on unwrapping a mesh, like Cubik said. Most people just concentrate on modeling, and texture work. But honestly, if you dont learn how to unwrap properly, it serioulsy hurts your texture work, along with your not showing off your model… -

Looking fantastic. Throwing my two cents in, maybe add some more range to you color values? You have a lot of mid-toned colors, and if you create a higher contrast in you values it should make it pop. Also, maybe add another color in there like a complementary blue or something to break up the monochromatic scheme... SUPER… -

Awesome job! I actually think the oversaturation really works. Might not be "realistic" but from an artistic standpoint, I really like how it contrasts. That being said, however, I think you could add a litttle more variation to the tones in the metal elements (restraints?) It looks great in silouhette, but its so dark… -
