1st. thing is i get this Bios shock feeling when looking at that stair case and the checker tile... Not sure if that's good or bad but its what came to mind with in .25 seconds of looking at you scene. 2nd is if its a library i would expect A LOT more books. but everything else looks pretty good quality
this is what your link linked to as the source. So maybe post the source. http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2009/aug/25/file-sharing-internet Anyways, is this a big deal? Sounds fine to me... Better than fining people 675 thousand dollars for 24 songs. Especially when the fine for stealing the actual CD is only 2,500...
Their website says entry is 25$ to see the models, and then another 5 if we want to see the movie. It says that groups can get it for 22$, but we phone in ahead of time. I called to get the info and starting times for the Imax movie, but the offices are closed on weekends It looks really interesting, what time should we…
Not a weapon guy myself but I saw how weapon guys worked fulltime outsourcing for AAA project. Good gun took them 12-25 days. Depending on complexity. It was modern real life guns, not sci-fi. So if you are working on some nice FPS 2 guns per month is quite good speed.
You have a quad core, so 25% is a full CPU core. The only possible problem source I see there is your graphics card, if your drivers aren't up to date, update them. Also make sure you're not on some power saving scheme either in your ATi/AMD properties or the Windows Power settings.

Just bumping up this thread as I have started testing MD3 lately and get serious amounts of lag when going below 20-25 particle distance. Is it RAM dependent or is it utilising the GPU/CPU? Its a cool program so far, and the results look pretty decent (when I can get it to work :) .
Update At this point of the project, I'm now just doing a sort of 'spot the difference' between my scene, and the film screenshot. Need to create a few extra chairs, perhaps 3 more and a stool. Still got another 20-25 assets remaining on my list to complete and get in the scene, and to fix them horrid windows.
Whats causing the harsh dark area in the light shining through? I don't see anything in the picture that really justifies it looking like that. If I had to pick one, I'd say the middle one, but try to tone down the light coming in a little bit. Not nearly as much as the one on the right, but maybe 25 percent less intense.
Anyone who judges a game buy what the developers say at the announcement and not from there actually experience can suck a d. I'm just kidding... I just think gamers should realize that there is a lot of gameplay to be had in it. $25 = Campaign $20 = Firefight $15+ = All the halo 3 MP DLC That is my break down...
