Well the first issue for me are the proportions. If you try to draw a skeleton inside this torso, you'll find something that is too elongated. Try roughly shaping a normal torso with good proportions and body landmarks, then add the fat.
Yeah, I looked at the UVs last night and they weren't great, but that's to be expected. The skeleton was pretty good, although I had a few weighting issues with the creature I exported, nothing major though. Very interesting stuff. :)
I wonder if theres any free 3d(skeleton)animating program that will export the animation files to 3d objects because last time I fiddled around with anim8or, they didn't ahve that feature. does blender do it?
My understanding isn't complete but I think it would require it's own animset, could probably use the same animset as the character if it was skinned to the same skeleton, but I'm not sure if helmets support animsets?
Started modeling C. Doesn't look like C anymore. Oh wells... I added boar tusks. I'm thinking if I do a set the theme will be the skeleton of a wild magical boar
it's a bit complicated than that - I normally do something like this: [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xm8OB00HGU"]Minecraft - Perfect spawner / dungeon trap tutorial (zombie & skeletons) - YouTube[/ame]
coolness, great stuff, here is one i made, been using it for awhile, its a modification of the skeleton material. really cool for seeing all the details. http://files-upload.com/357558/MatCapSAM.ZMT.html
nice.. the face and chest as lookin real good! What if instead of barefeet, he had skeleton feet with blood dripin off them? I think that'd add lots more character
Howdy. While I've been busy sending out applications / looking for the next freelance opportunity, I thought I'd kill several birds with one stone for one of my newer projects. (Make a new piece to show, Improve my handpainted/Diffuse-only skills, and brush up on breaking down and following an established style/aesthetic)…
