for assymetrical design: - some kind of mechanics making up half his skull (instead of all bone) - lopside his form (one side bigger, more built.. a prefered side for attack or defense) - defensive / attacking attachments as for the back: - armor - holstered shield / weapon - vents - some kind of hooking mechanism for him… -

Holy crap I can't begin to explain how fun that game looks! PS: Was this that art test for a raider npc with the goggles and shield? Ive seen that one before on other forums so I dont get why it has to be deleted here… -

Gonna add some sort of shielding/protection to the back of the elbow joints. Make the look less plain. The Heatsink/primal armour regulator/ Outer arm extension thing, needs some loving too. I think you could add more polygons, especially the front shield, still cool though. I personally don't like all of the noise in the normal map. The specular map needs work too. Determine what materials you are using in RL and apply it! Anyways its good, just needs some tweaks (imo) , keep it up! -

Also, your low poly should be much simpler. If it's intended to be seen in third person, I'd just have a simple thin cylinder for the main shape, with the thickness of the shield rim added. Also keep the outer spikes. If it's for first person, I'd add the rivets as well. The normal map will do most of the work for areas… -

I was a pure stealth build and I was able to take him down using guns. Shoot at his head, cloak, move to a different cover and repeat. The trick is to keep moving, don't let him get close to you. Even without shield augs you should be able to survive getting hit when running between covers. -
