Went from the 2011-06 build to the 2012-02 build with no issues. Later build seems to be more stable in regards to vertex painting tools and landscapes, could have just been on my end though.
And yet engines like UE 3 don't seem to instance meshes when you duplicate them (only in special cases like landscape foliage). Every discrete mesh is its own draw call.

We are a small group of students, who worked together to build a cool weapon for CS:GO weapon finish contest, themed in 70's and 80's sci-fi. It’s a wonderful theme and bring many memories on older…
"Project Aura" is a internal project from ArtOut Productions, it will a AAA quality UE4 environment, the idea is to creat it like a ceremonial spot in the middle of stunning natural landscape, I have been working on this, creating some assets take a look:
I know I'm late but I really wanted to finish this one. I pushed it as far as I can go. Tired something new with the background using the landscape tool in ue4 not sure if I like it :P
unreal 4 has splines that go on the terrain https://docs.unrealengine.com/en-US/Engine/Landscape/Editing/Splines/index.html or you can make custom meshes that have cuts in them for the tire tracks
The forest renders look great! What engine is this in? I was looking around but didn't see you mention it anywhere. From a beginner in this landscape game art, your stuff is motivational to say the least. :) Mike
Beautiful landscapes :) > Moving from CE to UE Maybe When used a lot of vegetation, "FPS value" is very lowering Anyway, good atmosphere The area "sheep" is possible habitat? I will prepare plans to model
Reminds of onland version of rapture, the mood of it. If possible i would remove fog from interior, and kinda worked on landscape it looks too raw atm. The one with curtains is nice, i like the mood.
If long is due to highly repetitive quests, same enemies different colors, random landscapes, same strategies.... then I go for the spectacular art :D It's been ages since I enjoyed a game to the end.
