David sculpt looks good. Though the purpose of the wood stump by his leg is that it's supposed to be touching his leg in order to support the sculpture. David was made from marble which can break thus the extra support. You'll see these wooden stumps attached to the legs of marble sculptures a lot, especially in the case…
Added some green detailing which looks pretty dope, probably will drop the green from the front grip tho as it doesn't blend too well with the gradient, but the mid-body parts look very good. Also made the mounting rail red and dropped the little screen that was above the HI-SCORE text as I didn't like it that much, now…
Guys, I would highly recommend you check out the Cryengine. I think it's gonna take over UDK eventually (heed my words!!), it's very powerful and easy to use. Sometimes it crashes, but who cares! RockSPb, I tried inverting the green channel and the rest of the model looks messed up. I will try inverting just the green…
right, 4 textures blending using 3 colour channels. - everything is based off the height map and adapts according to what's painted. red controls the height of the flagstones, green the damage on the stone and blue the height of the sand. i might make a couple of colour variations for the mud and sand and plug that into…
Reference board for throne, in the end i've decided to go with lounge chaise of sorts as its going to fit the ancient greek dining style. Basemesh to be exported to Zbrush WIP shot from zbrush, base blockout done, majority of soft material already given shape, rear contains buttons with traditional Greek decor on it. At…
Right now it's very monochromatic. It could greatly benefit from getting some things like dirt build up, some rust spots/leaks or rusted edges, just some subtle variation to the over all color. Looking at the T-34 the color looks slightly more like OD Green than just straight Foliage Green. A big help would also be a decal…
Hi Angry beaver, Thanks for the reply. :) Unfortunately I'm quite sure the green channel is right because the model looks as intended in the previewer (you can see for yourself here http://p3d.in/Xwhrg) but if I flip it, it generates different artefacts than in the game, and looks even worse. I'll test flipping green…
Raul - Thank man! Japhir - Thanks you for the comment! I just got back from class and the teacher pointed out a few things I need to fix Titus S- thanks dude! Yeah, I personally like the green also, plus hey... THIS IS POLY COUNT!!! GREEN RULES!! :D OOPS!! haha.. just realized I logged into my old account and posted this…
I think that's pretty common on some motherboards to only support 1 pairing at high speeds. I would go for the i7 system, but if you can get the WD black drive and not the green, (green is slower for power savings) I don't think phenom holds up to i7 at all. I've got that coolermaster case too, it's not too bad for a cheap…
My tutorial writing skills are no where near where they should be. Re-reading it I think I can make it much clearer. I'll take another stab at it. 1) Plot your hair guides using splines. Align your splines so they will form poly strips. For the purpose of this example it will look as simple as 3. 2) Select the first spline…
