WTF are you people talking about? This *IS* what next gen is all about. These models self bloody shadow, which is more than I have in my engine right now. The game has normal mapping, DOF, Bloom, per pixel shaders. Wtf more do you want? It is next goddam gen dammit. -

I started learning to do make next gen assets about 6 months ago, and I think I lost half of my hair while doing it. Go in with the understanding that its a lot of information and many methods to doing next gen art, read, watch tutorials, and take notes, and above all keep on practicing. -

one of the main reasons people use to make a full solid mesh, other then animation purposes, was that there game engine required it. but now there a plenty of next gen aka current gen engines that dont require this. its a great way to save polys, there are some problems you could run into by doing this but for a sword… -

I believe they are relaunching the series with the next gen systems, and that this is last MK to use any of the existing characters from the franchise. The next gen version will be entirely new characters/environments from what I've read, and while I'm sad to see some of the series staple characters go I think it's… -

The game still looks great. But one review I watched showed a bunch of the issues with it and most of them are issues that I'd let slide last gen. But I sorta don't think animation should clip through walls this gen. I'm really split on this one. Might just give it a gamefly and buy Mass Effect instead. -
