I think he means stylized as in everything that is not Realistic or Photo-Real. Altought you make a good point, "stylized" is kinda hard do define, even Naughty Dog Artists say that Uncharted is stylized, Realistic but with their own style. Hey! Good stuff! I agree largely with what Justin said before. I would also say you should demonstrate some ability to work on realistic stuff as well. Most games are done with a realistic art style these days, and to exclude anything like that from your folio would be a mistake. Keep up the good work! -

But I bet he can draw realistic, he probably just opted for that style as it was more expressive. My wife is a good cartoonist and has a very loose style, but she can draw superb realistic stuff too. To be fair you did say 'I don't think anyone should have to be good at art to go to art school' -

eh while I don't disagree with chris that the 3rd shot is the most realistic, I'd say that the 1st one has the most STYLE. which I think is worth considering... in environmental scenes like these, where the setting is very realistic and gritty and busted, lighting and atmosphere are your chances to add some real character.… -

PogoP, not sure if this has been recommended yet, but can you get some light from the flaming meteors to cast upwards on the cloud later? Only on the ones that are still up higher in the atmosphere, of course. I think that would help sell the giant flaming meteor, although I'm not sure if that's realistic, it's not exactly… -

Nice work and its one of the better organized Blogspot portfolios I've seen. Your game art work is all stylized and the prerendered stuff is a mix of both realistic and stylized. If it interests you and you want to work at a company that does more realistic game art I suggest making some! You've got the skills to do it! -
