Aye it's a great shader, I've also fiddled around with it in 3ds Max. :smile: Just wish Autodesk fixed shadows in viewport for ShaderFX previews. -

Those features look immensely useful and productive compared to zsphere and what not. They might be competing with autodesk for a 3D modeling package in a couple years o.o -

This is a valid function, but Autodesk added doesFileExist function a few versions ago. You're script is an excellent example. I've never used file encryption. -

I wish Maya had an active stereo option for 3dvision. Been considering a 3dvision pro solution with growing resentment to both Autodesk and Nvidia. -

If you are in college, you can get mudbox for free download as part of Autodesk's academic program. When I went back to school this was a lifesaver. -

Yep Autodesk got a hold of it when they bought Softimage, they quickly released it as a plug-in to people on 2010 subscription and then fully integrated and released it with 3dsmax 2011. -

I suppose you've checked Autodesk's knowledge base, webboard, etc.? From what I've read, Xrefs have always been trouble.
