I'm currently using a Lumia 520, w/Windows 8.1 which I can't say anything against it. It's ancient hardware, though, but if you're willing to try WP, it's pretty hard to go wrong with the Lumia series.
One last thing: that 480 is like ~1 year old and cost what, $400? That's still a very good card. You don't have to spend $500 every year on a new GPU to work in game dev.
Thanks i gave that a try but it didnt seemed to work, apparently from what i´ve been able to find out it could be a graphic card issue(i have an NVIDIA Geforce gtx 550 ti).
Well, I hope I will pack all the available polygons right. I think сhivalry limits are pretty fat, I'm also working in dota 2 workshop and there is a luxury if you have 500 tris limit.
Hey guys here's a quick update on the retop and on the orientation. For this project I'm working to a 12,000 Tri limit so any modifications I make will have to be under 500 Tris because I'm currently on about 11,500.
500? that sounds pretty damn excessive. right now it looks pretty bad. are the planes just straight? are they all mapped to the same texture? beard hair is almost never that straight so thats ur first problem.
