thanks shiskebab, ill see if I can pick those up! how should your wrist be angled relative to your mouse? My elbow rests on my chair arm rest and then my wrist is about 1.5 inches higher, so my wrist bends down a tiny bit and lightly touches the table
Hi, Purchased your script. Finding it a little difficult to use, i would suggest to have tooltips for all of the buttons, its very unclear what they all do. Some kind of quick start/reference guide would be good to have. video way too long(even at 1.5 speed), needs to be simplified thanks
Hey thanks guys :) . I'll probably get around to some sort of mini tutorial at some point, but really you should just look at Orb's site: http://orbart.free.fr/index.php?Gallery=105. He has fantastic style and he gives a ton of workflow insights. Expect a ton more here in the next few weeks!
I know this isn't a tutorial thread but: I almost never touch the smoothing group numbers in Max - running a complete Auto Smooth, while twiddling the angle value, will get you most of the way there. More details on this new company will be released shortly." So there…
Some prices are surprising at the very least. Double-fine got more from the internet to do an indie point-and-click adventure, then an entire studio with 180 people(some whom are crazy bad-ass) in the middle of Montreal is worth. It's flipping ridiculous. As well as the fact that no one wanted to buy Vigil. Doesn't make…
Thank you all! Glad you like it! Here's a 'quick and dirty' kitchen breakdown with a fancy blue glow header! If you have any specific questions about the workflow, please feel free to ask! The metalness workflow replaces a constant IOR for nonmetals (usually 1.5, aka 4% reflection) with whatever you put in the Albedo map. So if you have a metalness map where a spot is pure metal it is going to use the Albedo as an IOR (its actually a reflection coefficient, but basically IOR) instead. No tweaking should be…
