as far as i know the AO transfer maps is completely broken in maya, using 2008 for years and i was never able to get it to work properly. I think there's quite a few threads about it. Best bet is to go with xnormal -

thats just silly. Really, how is anybody suppose to keep track of 70 000 + sites? How could they be sure all of the sites were being used to distribute music and movies? That just doesnt make sense to me -

Utter toss. Kill enemies, walk upto static door, press button, screen blurs, rinse and repeat. It looks fantastic, but I don't know how you can get away with this in 2008 with the power of these consoles, it's shocking. -

Problem is I use shift middle mouse to constrain to an axis, then to reset the axis to x y z with no constraint in 2008 I could just hit w, in 2009 I have to hit q then hit w. Gayness. -

Need help in animating a severed arm.
I have a severed arm complete with hand and need help in animating it.I have never animated before although my past works i have rigged full character. I am using Max 2008 and would appreciate greatly any tutorials,links you may have.
