Can you please make a dvd about making an mmo in blender game engine?? I'm pretty sure a ton of people here on polycount would love that, I keep hearing people talk about mmo's all the time, it IS the latest thing you know!
Hmmm...sure you couldn't shut it off in msconfig? I had a similar issues and just simply reinstalled and before that while I needed to network I turn off TrueVector Services. Then again, you mentioned this was few years back (Mine's the latest one)
I have installed windows 8.1 the other week. Start button MS added isnt good enough really. However it is curable with "Classic Shell" app as Alphavader stated above. Latest Cryengine 64 works fine here. So far no issues at all.
Are you working off a reference? Could you post your reference images since this character has a lot of fan art. Also did you finish this one? https://polycount.com/discussion/189768/artstation-game-character-challenge-beyond-human-the-protector#latest
I'm doing inktober, at least I aim to do it haha. Heres my instagram https://www.instagram.com/glenn_3d_artist/ looks like someone has started a polycount thread for inktober https://polycount.com/discussion/205159/inktober-2018-share-your-progress-here#latest
That's pretty cool. What did you use for texturing? For the void sword, I think it would be really cool if you can figure out how to get the solar eclipse ring look for the center sphere. like this http://cf.ydcdn.net/latest/images/main/A5bailysbeads.jpg
Ok, I just downloaded the latest 2.8 and was searching for settings to switch to the old keymap and didn't find any, so I assumed it's going to be the new default at least. I have to admit I don't have time to be up to date with Blender's development anymore.
Default Scanline. I believe right up until the latest version, it was the only renderer that was supported in RTT - with Arnold supposedly being supported now. I've never used Arnold but I tried switching to it for RTT and 3ds Max just spat out an error and crashed.
These latest shots are really nice, good colours and composition and the lighting has improved too. There does seem to also be some light bleed on that roof in the last shot. I cant tell well from here but maybe the wood texture on the barrels could be less flat.
Looks awesome. The only thing that kind of stands out to me is the white tube going around the inside of the frame. They looked better as black or a dark grey. They look bright enough to be a light, which is kind of confusing as they're bending. Door reminds me of the latest Killzone.
