Hi there! I recently changed studio and forgot to copy a script for shell selection in maya! (similar to "5" element selection in 3ds max) I had a quick .mel to assign that to a hotkey, but not now. If anyone use a hotkey script for this and can help me, that'll be great. cheers -Manu
Hmmm for VNormals you have the wonderful NoorsNormalsThief script that still works pretty well, I'm lucky enough to never had encountered a bugged projection UVs, but I admit I use it quite rarely. For the cooking you're right, probably not worth worrying like that, I thought your question was on the grebble part sorry ^^"
You can run this script in photoshop to copy the file name to the clipboard. 1. Download it and remove the .TXT from the end of the file name. 2. In Photoshop create an Action where you run this script. (Set a hotkey in the Action option menu.) 3. Filename should be in the clipboard after you run the action.
i do... i think his films would be ALOT better if he spent a bit more time on script, plot structure, and core ideas. otherwise his films will always be fluff. he often generates a really nice visual feel to his films that is then ruined by a crap plot, or whimsical script.
Yeah, often times there are scripts that are on one package but not the other. It's annoying. I tried to use Modo as my main modeling app for awhile but it's hard when Max has scripts that you need to fit into the pipeline but Modo doesn't have equivalents and blah ... it's just easier to have everyone using the same…
yeah, actions or some script like Vtools and its many clones are awesome for this and make it so you shouldn't ever have to directly mess with the output texture. I'm not sure about scripts that support PNG though, it'd be pretty easy to make/alter one if you have a tech guy with the time
Those fancy loading animation are really unnecessary. Your site shows up empty if I don't allow cross-site scripts from parastorage.com which then tries to load ad scripts from doubleclick.net. Seriously get rid of all those and use pure HTML for your website. Or use Artstation.
The smokey clouds box is working better with the volume light, no more edges showing up. And I was able to use a script to get it to work with particles, and I wrote another script to add the atmosphere effect on all those gizmos. Lights don't seem to have any effect on them though, may be a problem.
I'm not sure I'm understanding you. You want a clone of the arm with an inverted hierarchy and with the same animation? You could clone the arm, use constraints (position and orient) to the original arm, and then collapse the controllers with a key per frame. No script needed. (Unless you wanted to script that process).
This Max script might be something transitioning Blender users would like: http://www.funkybunnies3d.com/tools/3dsmax/FB_SubobjPivot.mcr Select one or more components, run the script, now your 'working pivot' will be aligned to those components so you can rotate/scale other components from there.
