Hmm the head reminds me more of a fish, and the arms/leg are pretty reptile like. If you call it a amphibious chimeric creature I am fine with that, but it isn't a "Lobster Guy"
it's the subject matter. it's easier to make more interesting and engaging quests when they're about skulking around and killing people, instead of say, fishing or retrieving some arbitrary object.
Loving the disruptor legged fish mount !! Very clever, nice ... There could be even other variants from there - like a floating electric eel, without even using the leg bones - just hovering above the ground ...
Great design I must say! How did you come up with such an idea? It seems like a dead horny fish on a gun! :) But I love it. How much time did you take to finish it?
One big reason was phil fish hopping in with little artistic knowledge at the start, he basically became better at pixel-art as he went, and remade the style several times. Same happened with the game itself.
thanks for the replies fella's. those are some interesting processes. i wonder if i could fish for more visual based techniques ? if anyone has any examples of that type to share i'd love to hear 'em
The price last week was around 2$ a pound, now its less than 1$. In the same time period the price of fish has doubled so I guess thats what people here are switching to.
I really like everything here!!! From the lighting setup, to the materials used and your interpretation on the concept, it looks amazing. Did you have time to finish de fish tanks?
Hey guys! Changed my mind, so instead of Cho'Gath I'll be doing the Void version of Fizz. Really fun guy to make stuff :) Planning to make the "fish" as well. First WIP. Very rough blockout. Feedbacks are more than welcome.
Yo, here I go with few more updates. :) I've just started with the posing process, still need some tweaks. And this is a small fish that I'm going to use in my scene.
