The most problem I had with ZB's UI was: I can't find the damn things I need. Where's Mirror. Where's Mirror and Weld. Where's this and that button. Once I customize the canvas and put all buttons I always use there, everything is a walk in a park.
I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for but when you are in Edit poly mode, just select one edge and then just click the "Ring" or "Loop" button in the selection tab. If you want to do similar with faces, select about every 4th face, then the "Grow" button.
Yeah, and about the poly stuff... - select an edge then Ctrl-click the vertex button. - Select two or more adjacent edges and hit Connect. - To slide that new edge, use the Connect dialog instead of just the button, and use the Slide spinner. Or, use the Constraints, set to Edge.
I had a little trouble installing in windows 7x64 Can't see or scroll to the "install" button, I tried some compatibility modes which didn't help until realized I just had to press tab until I figured I was on the button then enter ^_^.
EDIT: Figured it all out. Basically I forgot about Keyboard Shortcut Override toggle (button beside snap) for when I want to unwrap a model. Also, I figured out how to make my modifier sets, its done by clicking the button beside the trash can in the modifier tab!
Hi, I'm working on a script where I want to create a Button for "show material attribute" when we right click on the object. For eg. I have selected one sphere and when I click on that button it will automatically open its material property. I don't know Material attribute Command. Thanks in Advance
After going crazy with button-pressing, I finally solved it. Under the Object Data Properties tab, I selected "clear custom split normals data" and voila! No idea why the model imported with that...but at least this was one issue that was solved by pressing random buttons! Thanks to everyone that viewed/was willing to help.
That's a screenshot from a 2010 edition, but the 2011 builds I've worked with had a big blue unrealEd button in the top right. Don't tell me they changed it again ughh..... I'm not gonna go download 1.7Gb of toolkit to find a button, nor can I find a screenshot of the newer version sorry.
I actually think the placement of everything on the xbox pad is pretty smart. DPad and buttons for fighters, twin sticks and triggers for everything else, specifically shooters. It'll mean a lot of the buttons for things like 3rd person games will move to the bumpers and triggers, but I can't see that being a bad thing.
Hey, a little late to reply but I found this post while searching for the same issue you had. Mind sharing what your end command for the button was so if anyone else has this issue they can solve it also? I managed to fix it by exporting a separate cage file but not in one button.
