Whether your engine loads the texture as linear or gamma space (sRGB) is generally up to you. So use the appropriate value. After several days of being out of town, I have returned home to finish the high-poly and bake the normals and lighting maps into the base mesh. I increased the base mesh's tri-count from 992 to 3840 after realizing that I would lose a lot of detail in the bake unless I gave myself more tris to work with. Next up, Diffuse…
