green works with the rest of your colours, but not the green you choose, in RTL alot of greens in arab architecture were glazed so you woul dneed a richer deep green and it will work with the stone colour too if you make it paler from an old project i did a while back using similar colours pillar pillar pillar
obj/mtl is a super basic format and doesn't handle any kind of advanced shaders, even Arnolds standard surface. It also uses the shading group node, not the material for naming, but that's a minor point here. If you're trying to move objects from one Maya scene to another, there are much better options- namely copy and…
Google is a good first start. Nothing specific comes to mind. https://www.google.com/search?btnG=1&pws=0&q=digital+painting+dark+skin+tones&gws_rd=ssl Wanting to draw and paint people of races other than caucasian is is good goal, but there's a lot more than skin color that makes people diverse and different in appearance.
um..... AND BAM!!!! thanks so much nefarious. apply skip to a fully alpha'd tube...BAM!!! thanks again man. one pepporoni pizza is on it's way!!! oh well....i can't get a "sel" and "skip" in my masking menu. maybe it only works on zbrush primitives. or maybe i don't have sometin'. yep, only works on prims.
Okay, added 3 Edgeloops on each side. A little bit better but stil weird. Edit: What do you mean with "2. Add hard edges on the uv borders, this sort of smoothing is too difficult for a normal map to account for" exactly? I have hard edges everywhere on the mesh and the distorion is on blank side, not near any edges.
I am still not satisfied with the used font at the next sticker. Its good, but to playful in my opinion. But if its on the weapon, like the m4, all my doubts are gone... to be frank its my "unevolved" experience with fonts. I like the font, but its somehow not fitting the subject/message of the sticker. Gimp - Cooper std…
One more thing, I tried using the material editor, when I click on the light blue (is just blue now because I tried loading a map with only primary colors - it didn't work) it just sees it as background... I'm pretty sure it's something on my end that I'm missing, but... obviously I'm missing it! Thanks! ~Sil
Such details as texel size should be set before you start. If you started without talking about details now he can ask you to tweak here and that....for ever. Have you asked for a reference models or sth. like that? It helps and set the standard. If that wasn't your fault he should pay you additionally for additional work.
I can't upload a model with its textures. It says to zip the obj, mtl, and jpeg into a zip folder, but when i try to upload it, it just says "Error - you cant' upload file more than 0MB. If you need more upgrade to pro account or contact the support" The ability to handle alpha transparency textures would be nice too.
thank you very much guys. so far i tested hight blend and by pushing the plaster it works quite fine for the first approach but i think i will also work with pom floaters and decals. Maybe i also try sth with cutting parts out and using different ids together with decals to get good edges
