I'm not a super avid Modo user these days but I'll tell you what I know about how Blender's selection and normal editing compare to Modo. I got it to run on my hd4870, but very laggy, the only way i get to play it with no lags means that i have to deal with corrupt textures anywhere(Vending machine textures in npc faces for example) -
