Hi, here are the notes I got and how I tried to fix them 1- Clarity when hitting the ball I kept the sword and right hand away from the ball when the tail hits it. Also didnt turn his body as much at that moment. 2- Tail length The tail isn't actually long enough to be completely wraped around his body, the first time I…
I followed one tutorial that was pretty in depth and used the info to create my own material. Its a pretty detailed process but it would really be worth it for environment people. If the light hasn't gone on follow a tute then make your own stuff directly after. Keep doing that till you get it.
One of the problems with this industry is tons of people seem to have this huge sense of entitlement as well as massive egos. "why should I do this when I am getting laid off?!" well they are still paying you, and generally your employer tells you what to do while at work...so if you are being paid for the next few weeks…
I prefer the missile-to-the-face approach, followed second by the sniper shot to the face, followed third by the combat shotgun unload to the face. Oh yah, and I found the mechanical fist.... doesn't seem to work too well if you don't a have a strong melee setup.
you still need to look at some reference ..your face still lacks alot of feature you would see..If you arent following the reference from the Movie, could you show us which face reference your following?
That box there on the left is kinda disturbing. My eyes would like to be able to follow the stairs up, since you gave them the opportunity to follow a way... Because of the composition I would rather remove or reposition that box. (That lilted over one)
Ah cool, i was following your guys work on the orgre forums. Even if im not signed up there. I was going to comment on your blog but the commenting seems broken. Freaking awesome job so far dudes, im following this with anticipation!
If you are going to follow a tutorial for a model please have the courtesy to say what you followed and give credit where it is due... Also dont put anything like that in your portfolio, for anyone that knows that it was made from a tutorial it is a major turnoff.
