I made some merch work can be voted on here -> http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=449190691 and this one can be voted on here -> http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=450166232 and from the first one also made this enjoy
Id love to play but i heard it was about $120 to start your account with all expansions and then $30 every 2 months. I don't play enough to pay that much, but id love to experience it. Ill stick with xbox live for now =\
id get a rare alloy and melt it and make a mean fucking mask, then id kidnapp some massive genious and force him to make me some badass techno robotic bionictastic eyeballs and hands/arms + a hovering throne with badass missiles...
material IDs with a valid bitmap assigned to each ID in the multi/sub material before export. that way you get several material slots on a mesh in the unreal editor. assuming you are using max here, for maya it might be slightly different.
Somethings overwriting layers for sure, had the same happen. I also had something in the layer stack turn my normals grey (was one of the DDO materials), as well as super blobby ID selection that's not even close to the actual ID map.
What I do is asign material ID's instead of smoothing groups then use GoZ. This imports the material ID's as Polygroups. Then you can hit "Crease PG" to crease the polygroup boarders. Pain in the ass but easiest way I have found.
Finally got it working in the Steam Workshop. Created two separate skin packs, one for summer and one for winter. Summer Pack: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=622657458 Winter Pack: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=622629266
Go to bake maps and bake an "id map" and in the parameters change from "vertex color" to "mesh id" Then you can apply a color mask, and on the right side it says "pick color" and then you can pick as many objects as you want
Would anyone happen to have a guest pass code? I already have one for me and id love for me and my friend to both play on a guest pass. Alone the game is pretty boring but id love to experience party play
Whilest probably not too effective.. its still an excercise :) But basically id agree with gir, if you already made such a hipoly model and aiming for a low one, id skip the step. Also i see alot of polygons wasted already on that model.
