Yeah, I think I mentioned in the first post that's what I'd done - I'd given them their own smoothing group, but I split them so they had their own UV. I remember being taught, that if anything has it's own Smoothing Group, it needs its own UV...? Or is it the other way around - that a new UV needs its own Smoothing… -
