Mari 2.0 : And Height map to normal map
Hi, Do you know guys how can i achieve "Heightmap as normal map" with the new layer system Inside mari 2.0. With Mari 1.5 'Heightmap as normal map" was a Shader module allowing users to paint directly a normal map with black and white that were than transformed as normal map shapes at baking. Can't find a way to that… -

Hi, Which version of Mari are you using? In 1.5 we updated the overlapping UV support, but there is still the caveat that painting over both parts that share the same UV in the same stroke can cause issues. Quick update for something I was considering. I'm not sure if I like these, because they block so much of the scene. Dot-111 tankers being left behind to rust. Some rail beams, tools, etc. on the sides. Been playing a lot of The Last of Us and Crysis 2 though, so a makeshift quarantine environment is still on the mind :) -

The mesh can be heavily optimized, try to merge together edge loops that run along the tail,the rotor cap, the engines. At that polycount, im guessing your not going for the lowpoly version of the helicopter then I would advice to build a highpoly of the base you got there. A 11k mesh without normlas is not gonna do any… -

Some awesome changed have been made recently, good work! I am personally conflicted about the text size change, I feel the old size was too large but I also think the new text size is slightly too small so I may have to use 110% zoom for the time being. -
