Only critique on the door knocker is that you should use more reference material on the nose/mouth area. I assume you are doing a lion the nose/ mouth needs to be bigger and the nose needs to blend in around the nostril area. Currently it looks like a bear except for the mane. When you do a Google search for lion statue,…
Lion's weapon is more of a scepter/wand so I feel like the lion weapon isn't a good fit unlike the other two weapons which fit in perfectly. Lion for reference:
Lion set is cool but I think the shoulder item could be improved. It doesn't add much silhouette and the solid metal material doesn't really fit Lion to me. Also you used the old Lion model as a base. You need to decompile his model to get the latest version with the spikes and gem on the head.
Lol! yes. sweet lion mesh! Are you going for a particular style? It reminds me of the Lion in disney's Aladdin. Love that style. Looking good, it just doesn't read as a realistic lion. But thats cool. as far as the edge loops go your on the right track. looks like you just need to keep going with it. The character was a…

Before making the base mesh gathered reference to help with getting the correct form for the face before enhancing it in zbrush and to get a idea of how much detail is in lion head statues. Added in as much detail possible for…
The lion on the Armrest support was my least favorite. I had a hard time capturing the face of the lion to make it recognizable. I would of model or sculpted the whole chair, however, I did not have the patients nor the time to do custom lion faces and most of everything else. Especially since this project lingered on too…

On Sunday I went for a hike with my brother and the Varsity Outdoor Club from UBC. We went to the summit of the West Lion where everyone practiced their Lion pose and…
