Does anyone know how to create this type of effect in Substance painter? This is a mermaid outfit from PUBG and it is reflecting the light the way a thin oily film would when you look it from different directions. -

Ati and NVidia can make their own graphics demos and they are optimized for their own hardware (which doesn't mean the mermaid demo that came with my GF6800 had decent FPS, though...). They don't need Mad Onion. -

/offtopic Yeah, but somehow recently Berserk became festival of fairies, pirates and mermaids. I wonder how it came to this... /ontopic I think new cinematic lacks the turpism that made it's predecessors grim and twisted feel. I don't care How much of this was art direction, how much technical issue. I know it felt right… -

I think eek. haha :D Anyhow here's her staff, I may still play around with the colours depending on which Nami I go with. -

agree with what chris is saying there. my 2 pence would be to look at seahorses/mermaid type solution. sea horses have a strange way of moving, via several small constantly moving fins, flitting about like a bug. just a suggestion good work so far. -

Man, that is seriously some top notch work. He's a very believable character, especially in the face. He reminds me a bit of Abe Sapien from Hellboy, crossbred with Ursula from The Little Mermaid. So very awesome, my friend. The shot of his head is my new desktop -
