I also find it curious, not including lead or senior level, but a quite experience artist with out a promotion can peak at 65-78k at a studio(certain studios of course). So wondering what the annual average on freelance stands on?

I got a refurbished 4x5 Graphire 2 about 2 years ago for about $65. It works fine, although , have never used an intuos, what are the differences? I mean, I'm still perfectly happy with the whole concept of a pressure sensitve pen.
@Cglewis - Yep the MPH is not entirely accurate right now, some math in the code to tweak and kind of get that MPH into a more accurate zone. It's a 125CC go kart, and would prob top out around 65 MPH or so at top speed.
Arctura; he wasnt asking your opinion on best software. I browse a lot of UK game company websites/game job ads and the types of 3d software knowledge they look for I'd say is around 65% max, 30% maya and 5% other stuff.
