Hey everyone, I'm having a small issue that I can't quite find any information on. I set up a 600 frame animation in 3ds Max to output @ 1280 x 481 (an odd resolution, granted) in the .avi format. Unfortunately it seems to default to 720 x 480 on save, but the Render Window as it processes the render is @ 1280 x 481. Is…
Served during that era (1983 - 90) though age limit for ex-service regular personnel rejoining was and most probably remains capped at 37, where I live. But yeah if memory serves, no need to revisit the lovely experience of 13 weeks recruit training, just a general physical/medical plus police check and other bits 'n…
Here's a nice-looking one. No breakdown, but maybe you can see what he's doing if you look closely. Looks like noise scrolling upwards on a particle plane. http://www.klemenlozar.com/?p=1287
Thanks a lot! I unfortunately seem to keep getting a third error: // Error: file: C:/Users/aoroz/Documents/maya/2014-x64/scripts/LaunchQuickPipe.mel line 1288: Invalid flag '-lt' :( Cheers!
it says "UP TO" 1100x1100, so if you wanna make it widescreen just make the height smaller. still, 1100 is a seemingly random number for max res, to me 1280 would make more sense haha
Eh, 2x128, psp style. Ready to fight ZOMBIES, or something. Also 1281 tris, which I'm sure is way too much. But the helmet comes off and the gun's included in the texture/tri count, so...
Also worthwhile remembering to change the "Blue" channel's output levels to maximum of 128 (CTRL-L, select blue from the drop down, type 128 where it says 255 on the right at the bottom gradient slider thing). This is because the blue channel contains the "forward" facing normal information and if you use Overlay blending…
100% this 370mio is insane for the subject. You wouldn't even be able to capture that detail to a single sheet texture map. You would need a 128k resolution map! You definitely need to optimise the point cloud at source.
Going off bench marks, 9800GTX scores 928 on PassMark - G3D Mark, the GT 640 scores 1,283, about a 30% improvement, but still not much of an upgrade. http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html 660ti on the other hand, 4,690.
Here is a love song that many people can identify with: http://www.compfused.com/directlink/1253/ Sometimes these links shift, if it doesn't start off as a cheezy love song by a band called tripod you might want to close it.
