@BlvdNights - Yeah I drew inspiration from, voodoo, witchdoctors, shaman, native american art, Diablo, and Xerxes (from 300) I do need to get the accessories figured out though but the fact that I'm a huge Blizzard fan I appreciate the comment :)
oh really? sketchbooks is where i find a lot of inspiration. It's where the people who just make art with0ut all the bs'ing hang out, lol. Check out patina's critters. If you into that sort of things his thread is constant source of inspo.
This is amazing, really incredible. Sigh, if only I could turn back time and do it before you... Really lovely, saving this in my inspiration folder right away. Care to explain the shader used? (I wont be offended if you say no) Great work.
Hm, I suppose I worded my question wrong- edited Thanks though- I can't believe I forgot about Darksiders! I loved that game :D And Settlers 7, Neox has some really inspiring work all around :)
God when I first saw this in waywo I was crazy inspired, happy to see some more updates as well, probably one of my favourite models from you Renaud! I honestly can't wait to see what you do with texturing.
extra notes: will probably be hl2... if you want me to show you a map first i can if you want inspiration first i can find some. Just ask about it since the old saying goes Ask and you shall recieve
Looks cool! Great design and well executed. I prefer my maya wires from the vector renderer, but meh- it's a wire :) Inspired me to make my ext piece more stylised to add some variety to my folio- so thanks! ~P~
To say Carmack is overrated is a huge slap in the face to the entire community. He pioneered many advancements in game engine development and inspired others to push the technology. You may want to think first before you let vomit spew from your mouth..
Cheers Thegodzero, Here is this mornings speed painting. It also took 1 hour and I based it off a 1 inch sketch once again. I tried to loosen the flow up a little with this one, taking some inspiration from craig mullens style.
It would be interesting to see what you're using for reference... or if you're using reference at all. With it being an RTS the flawed anatomy isn't going to be AS noticeable, but still should be corrected. Let's see your concept! or maybe some links to things you're using for inspiration.
