Some more progress. Its got support for duel analog stick GamePads and a full functional menu and ini saving system. @Keg, I think I can make it different enough that it wont infringe on their IP.
yeah the arse looks a bit cellulite, but its looking super overall edit: dont like to post much in here without adding some kind of progress pic, heres how the sloth concept looks at the mo:
One of my first experiments with high-poly modeling. And normal-map generation. The first series of images is of the sculpting progression. The last three are different views of the low-poly version that the normal map gets pasted over.
progress... it is based around a british actor but I sorta wandered away from the refs when I posted the last update Gwot: I'll add more knee later- first of all I need to add testicles!
This is a work in progress...I am laying out the basic shape and form of the character until I get to the immese detail. Some of the shapes of the character isnt smoothened out right now, but here is my work so far.
That's beautiful StrangeFate! Boots for my jedi still in progress. Wouldn't mind some C&C on the leather parts which I think turned out good, but if anybody has any tips on how to improve them it would be nice.
i've been working on him some more, the feet need some improvement and then i think i'm ready to unwrap him. I decided he should be an urban city guy :P here's the progress: Crits and comments welcome!
@tremulant: heh, not really, if it was the Styers way there'd be an 8-pack on the guy. I sat in on his low poly workshop a few quaters back, it was....ok. By the end of the workshop the character looked more alien than human. Anywho, progress...
Slowly making progress. My personal project outside of work. Going to detail it in z-brush and then recreate a lowpoly on top of it. Game mesh should be no more then 5k preferably less. Would be a hoot if i landed somewhere around 3k.
Yea man that's good stuff spitty hope to see that sucker soon. Normal mapping him? Ren G, cool head. Jaco Progress is looking promising. And RG, that's a neat unusual style of texturing I like how it works.
